Whipsnade Zoo's Children's Farm

Kids of all ages can get up close with their favourite farm animals in Whipsnade Zoo's children's farm, in the heart of our zoo in Bedfordshire.

Seven things to do in the farm

1. Meet and greet our farm animals

Whipsnade Zoo's Hullabazoo Farm is home to all of your favourite farm animals. From ponies and alpacas to cows and sheep, get up close to the animals and stroke them in their stables or see them grazing out in their grassy paddocks.

2. Pet our pygmy goats 

Our pygmy goats love to be stroked, and are the perfect size for toddlers to encounter in our walk-through. Plus, the goats are named after Disney characters, from Elsa to Baloo, making them firm favourites with little ones - and adults!

3. Catch our animals on their walks

Our farm animals go on regular walks to explore all that Whipsnade Zoo has to offer and meet their neighbours. Look out for the alpacas getting their harnesses on - visitors aged 12 years and over can even book onto an alpaca walking experience, available on selected Wednesdays.  

4. Visit our Guinea Pig Village

Our children's farm is also home to smaller animals like rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs. Our guinea pigs live in a fabulously colourful village. 

5. Look out for baby animals

In the spring there's often a Whipsnade Zoo baby boom, and this includes on our farm. We've recently welcomed calf Petal, an 'At Risk' Shetland cow, born to mum Poppy. She's an important addition to the rare breed, and can be seen out in her paddock. You might be lucky to spot piglets soon too!

6. Don't miss our Farmyard Fun show

Back for Easter and beyond, children will have the chance to get even closer to our animals and learn about them from our expert zookeepers. Join us for Farmyard Fun, every day at 12pm. 

7. Explore the other areas of Hullabazoo
