Our Vet Careers Day is the perfect event for anyone who is considering pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing or wildlife health.

Participants will spend the day engaging with and learning from those who provide veterinary care to our exotic animals here at Whipsnade Zoo. Bringing together experts in animal health and welfare from across the international conservation charity ZSL. This impactful day will consist of industry talks, facility tours, veterinary demonstrations, a practical activity at Hullabazoo Farm and an interactive Q&A panel.

Whether you are interested to learn more about this diverse field or you have already started to make initial steps towards your future veterinary career, this informative day will give you a behind the scenes insight into the incredible work ongoing by our ZSL veterinary team who work across our conservation zoos and our conservation projects around the world! Participants will also get the opportunity to meet a current veterinary medicine student to learn more about pathways in the industry and student life!
